Our Story

It started with Peanut.

Pea is the first puppy we've raised together, and the lead-up to bringing him home was pure excitement. But somewhere between the excitement and the big day, the scrambling began. What do we actually need? We researched endlessly, second-guessed everything, and made far too many trips to the pet store hoping we'd finally got it right.

The cost floored us. Setting up with all the gear added up fast, and even then we were never quite sure we had everything - or whether we'd bought the right things at all.

More than anything, we wanted Peanut to be comfortable. We were nervous about taking him away from his mum and his siblings, and we wanted his new home to feel safe and full of love from the very first moment. We weren't expecting how overwhelming it would all be, or how often we'd quietly wonder whether we were getting it right.

Sixteen weeks in, we finally do. We know exactly what keeps Peanut happy, settled and thriving - and we wanted to spare other first-time puppy parents the guesswork, the overwhelm, and the endless shop runs we went through.

So we created Paw One.
